No fewer than seven teams participated in the first quiz night of the season. It was encouraging to see a team of youngsters led by the unassuming Sonny Baker – so very much reminiscent of the Overton twins in recent years. The winners on the night though “We Got Evo” but the team could equally have been called “Captains Past and Present” as it also contained Captain Tom and Kels or “Team with a Bump” as Captain’s Tom better half, Jazmin, was in the team – it was so good to see her support Captain Tom. Considering, Evo nearly run out of figures counting the cars let overnight at the Rec, hopefully this will be the first of many successful social nights during the season. A massive thank you must go to Matt McCann for hosting the event.
