Torquay 155 all out
Brixham 89 all out
Torquay won by 66 runs
Torquay remain top of the table after defeating Brixham in the local derby.
The hosts won the toss and elected to bat and at 61/4 skipper Allen might of thought that the wrong decision had been made. However, 41 from Pugh, 19 and 20 from Jack Richardson and James McMurray respectively ensured that Torquay scrambled to a well below par figure of 155.
In reply, the visitors raced along to a healthy 46 before losing their first wicket courtesy of Kasner (2/24).
Brixham could only muster a further 43 runs from their remaining 9 wickets as Matt Beasant picked up a personal best of 8/18.
This Saturday sees Torquay on the road when they visit Abbotskerswell 12.30 start.
