Torquay leap-frog the visitors into top spot of division A.

Having won the toss and electing to bat first, Tim Western and Franco Kasner (16) quickly moved the score along to 40 before Franco found an inside edge onto his stumps.

Tim and George Allen put on a further 43 before Western was bowled for 29.

Allen (74) was next to be dismissed having shared a partnership of 159 with Pugh. Tom Drake hung around for an unbeaten 21 and assisted Mitch in reaching his 2nd century of the season before being caught for an impressive 134.

Pugh took the new ball and along with some tight bowling from opening partner Kazi Szymanski had the visitors 35/4. Pugh went on to take 7 wickets for just 17 runs from 9 overs. Sonny Baker picked up his first wicket in the A Division bowling 8 overs for 46.
