New Signing Profile - Jordan Hoffman

A Message from our New Fast Bowler – Jordan Hoffman... I'm very excited to be joining Torquay CC this year, having only played in Birmingham in the Birmingham Premier Division and Division One, I'm looking forward to experiencing a different league and being part of a successful cricket club like Torquay and hope I can contribute to further success in the upcoming season.

New Signing Profile – Steve Lewis

Grew up through the youth of Barton Cricket Club where I learned my trade. Enjoyed a small adult career there also mixed with Babbacombe. Looking forward to a different club and atmosphere! Also looking forward to getting fit playing squash for Torquay again. Australia has been a fantastic experience. The league I played in was on carpet pitches and my batting suffered big time unable to adapt. However my wicket-keeping was pretty successful. One stumping and 3 dismissals from breaking A Grade club records. Also the team I represented made the grand final after finishing last the previous 2 seasons. Unfortunately we lost the final but was an incredible experience all round. I'm looking to get my teeth into a new club, new social and playing scene. Hoping to push my cricket to the next level training with premier cricketers. Who knows, regular premier cricket is the goal. Massive challenge looking at the great signings the club has made. Hopefully big success comes to Torquay and I can contribute in any way.
